Dear Animal Advocates,

Welcome to the website of the Nashville Humane Association. We have been working hard on behalf of animals over the past year. We were able to place over 2500 pets into new loving homes. Our mobile unit Rover and on site facility surgical suite have spayed and neutered over 5000 pets for over 2200 families. If those pets had each been responsible for only one litter of 4 approximately 20,000 unwanted kittens and puppies would have born.

We are excited to announce a new strategy we will be using to place even more pets. Watch for the arrival of Teddy’s Wagon a 26’ Fleetwood Gearbox trailer converted into a state of the art mobile adoption unit. We anticipate the arrival to be sometime in May, 2007. We will be scheduling sites through out Davidson County for people to meet our available pets for adoption. You will not only be able to visit our 213 Oceola Ave location, you will be able check out the website for where our mobile adoption unit will be next. Teddy’s Wagon was made possible by a grant from The Anne Potter Wilson Foundation. We were truly humbled to receive this major gift from the Wilson family. Teddy’s memory will live on to help find homeless pets a family of their own.

We want to thank all of you for your most generous support over the past year. It has been critical to keeping our programs and services available to provide help for thousands of pets annually.
