This summer, I volunteered here. I finally managed to convince my dad to let us adopt another dog, but he didn't want the one I wanted. I wanted a puppy named Aurora. She wasn't really a puppy, she was already pretty big. We think she's about 6/7 months old now. Anyway, the day we went in there to finally adopt a dog, the one my dad wanted had already been adopted, and he was discouraged but I wasn't because for the past few weeks, I had been spending long amounts of time just sitting with Aurora in her cage. She was so awesome. Anyway, I spent an hour that day convincing my dad that we should get her and he finally gave in. That was in late July or early August and she's doing really great. She has a ton of personality. Thanks.
