This is Bonnie Mae. Apparently, she had been at the shelter for most of her life. When we bought our new house with the big fenced in yard, I wanted a dog right away. I wanted a big dog. Little did I know that she would be so loveable. She wants to be loved and petted constantly. She loves to hop up on the couch and cuddle to a good movie. I couldn't have imagined a more loving animal.
Because she was a part of the PPAWS Program (Prison Puppies Achieving Worthy Service), she was leash and potty trained. She also knew some basic commands, such as sit and strangely enough, kiss. She loves our cat, who we also got from the Humane Association. Now, the cat needs to learn to love her back. We would recommend that anyone looking for a pet go see the folks at the Nashville Humane Association.
