Born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, a small town seated on the Kentucky/Indiana border. After picking up guitar at age twelve, he knew that music was his passion. Now at twenty-one, Jay has been honing his skills as a songwriter and performer for years.
A heartbreak kid rooted with a voice of pain and grit, Michael McQuaid is a Dallas native making a name for himself in Nashville. His sound infuses a clash of blues, soul and heart stopping beats to cultivate a new class of R&B.
Not only will there be live music, we will have Charmed Life Mantra playing your favorites of yesterday, today plus what’s hot and NEW! See you all on Saturday, September 15th at Centennial Park!

They are a valued partner of NHA and have been demonstrating at Dog Day for 13 years! See Nashville K-9’s demonstrations at 10:30a and 11:30a on the Demonstration/Agility Area!
Want to find serenity and share it with your pup? Join us and Madison Ryan Yoga for Doggie Yoga at this year’s Dog Day Festival! We will be offering two classes at 10:15a and 2:00p in front of the stage to find your center and be one with your forever companion!
Looking to sweat? Want to get your dog’s heart rate up? Stop by the Demonstration/Agility area with your pup and sweat to Doggie Boot Camp! Camp Gladiator will teach two classes at 12:15p and 3p that will both of you looking for the doggie pools. See you Saturday at the 29th Annual Dog Day Festival!
