33nd Annual Cause for Paws

The 2021 Cause for Paws will be an event unlike any other in its 33-year history! Nashville Humane Association and Event Co-Chairs Leslie Hooper and Alexee Saunders invite you to join us for an amazing celebration of the thousands of homeless and adoptable shelter pets that come into our care every year. And for 33 years as one of NHA’s four major annual fundraising events, Cause for Paws has been raising much-needed funds to support the shelter’s life-saving mission and programs. Simply put, events like Cause for Paws help keep our doggie/kitty doors open, and help keep us saving lives! Through your generous support you make all of this happen.

This year’s event will be a return to our home at Belle Meade Country Club after a one year “online un-gala” during COVID. The 2021 event will feature special guests, an amazing catered luncheon, shelter pets, and a fall fashion show presented by Gus Mayer featuring Jason Wu.

Additionally, the Cause for Paws Committee will recognize an outstanding individual and philanthropist in Middle Tennessee for their lifetime dedication and commitment to homeless animals, as well as their support of NHA, with the Julia Colton Award.
