DESCRIPTION:For the past 36 years\, Cause For Paws has been one of the Nashville Humane Association’s biggest and most successful fundraising events. This charitable luncheon\, at the historic Belle Meade Country Club\, is a celebration of shelter pets and the people who support the mission of saving lives at Nashville Humane. Every year\, this event features a special fashion show straight off the runway\, a premiere auction\, and an exclusive pop-up shop courtesy of Gus Mayer and designer L’AGENCE. The two-leggeds are referred to as “dog’s best friend.” Tennis balls and tasty treats are the ultimate reward for positive behavior. On this day\, “Music City USA” becomes a dog’s world! Appropriate greetings are done front to back\, high fives are still high fives (they’re just better!) and the streets are paved with treats! That day is here… it’s Nashville Humane’s annual Dog Day presented by Mars Petcare! \nBring your pooches to Dog Day\, and don’t forget to wear your best costume for both you and/or your dog. There will be food trucks\, local vendors\, costume contests\, fun zones\, live entertainment/music and so much more! The festival also serves as a wonderful opportunity to meet wonderful and adoptable shelter dogs who are ready to find their forever homes! SUMMARY:October Low-Cost Vaccine & Microchip Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Our monthly low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic will be held at FiftyForward Madison from 9 AM – 11 AM on October 26th. The first 100 attendees will be able to receive vaccines\, microchips\, deworming medication\, and flea/tick prevention for their dogs and cats thanks to your local donations and a generous grant from the Banfield Foundation. \nVaccines are $15 each: Rabies\, DAPP\, DAPPL\, Bordetella\, and FVRCP. \nMicrochips are $10. \nGeneral Deworming Medication is $5. \nFlea/Tick Prevention (lasts 30 days) is $10. \nNo appointment is needed. Located across the street from the shelter building. Serving the first 100 pets to arrive. Cash and/or credit payment options only. \nWe ask that all pets please be on a leash or in a carrier. Thank You!
