DESCRIPTION:Our monthly low-cost vaccine and microchip clinic will be held at Movement Lounge\, by Yoga Muttz from 9 AM – 11 AM on August 24th.  The first 100 attendees will be able to receive vaccines\, microchips\, deworming medication\, and flea/tick prevention for their dogs and cats thanks to your local donations and a generous grant from the Banfield Foundation. \nVaccines are $15 each: Rabies\, DAPP\, DAPPL\, Bordetella\, and FVRCP. \nMicrochips are $10. \nGeneral Deworming Medication is $5. \nFlea/Tick Prevention (lasts 30 days) is $10. \nNo appointment is needed. Located on the lower level in the Donelson Plaza. Serving the first 100 pets to arrive. Cash and/or credit payment options only. \nWe ask that all pets please be on a leash or in a carrier. Thank You!

Between August 7 and August 21\, 2023\, you can submit a photo of your pet (dog or cat) as a nominee to be featured on the wrapper of the 2023 TailGate Brewery Adoption Ale. It’s a special limited edition brew by the beer wizards at TailGate Brewery. Entering your pet is just a $20 donation to Nashville Humane. \nVote for your favorite. Then\, starting August 22\, you\, your friends\, and everyone who loves your pet’s photo will be allowed to vote for their favorite submission until Sept. 17\, 2023. Each vote is a $1 donation to Nashville Humane. \nWe have a winner. Once all the votes are tabulated\, the dog with the highest number of votes and the cat with the highest number of votes will be declared the respective winners. \nAll of this is followed closely by instant celebrity for your four-legged friend as one of the two featured pets on the inaugural TailGate Brewery Adoption Ale! \nSupporters of Nashville Humane and lovers of great beer will be able to find Adoption Ale at all TailGate Brewery taprooms\, as well as NHA’s Dog Day Festival at Centennial Park on October 21st. \nWhy it matters.
