Imagine a day where four-legged friends rule the day. The two-leggeds are referred to as “dog’s best friend.” Tennis balls are the ultimate reward for positive behavior. On this day, “Music City USA” becomes Shih-Tzu-sic City USA! Appropriate greetings are done front to back, high fives are still high fives (they’re just better!) and the streets are paved with treats! That day is here…

It’s the 2018 Dog Day Festival and on Saturday, September 15, the Front Lawn of Centennial Park goes to the dogs! Join thousands of Nashvillians and their furry companions for a day jam packed with four-legged fun. Dog Day Festival, Nashville’s longest running dog festival, is a celebration of everything pup and all proceeds go to benefit the Nashville Humane Association.

Bring your pooches and participate in activities such as a costume contest, pupper parade, training classes, demonstrations, contests and pet portraits, or enjoy the children’s area and various demonstrations. There will be food trucks, door prizes, fun zones, live entertainment/music and so much more! The festival also serves as a wonderful opportunity to meet wonderful and adoptable shelter dogs who are ready to find their forever homes!

As always, we thank you for supporting Nashville Humane Association!!

Please support our sponsors and vendors as well 🙂

And we hope to see you and your furry friends on September 15.
