Nashville Humane’s Dog Day

presented by Mars Petcare

September 12, 2020

Imagine a day where four-legged friends rule the day. The two-leggeds are referred to as “dog’s best friend.” Tennis balls are the ultimate reward for positive behavior. On this day, “Music City USA” becomes Shih-Tzu-sic City USA! Appropriate greetings are done front to back, high fives are still high fives (they’re just better!) and the streets are paved with treats! That day is here…  Dog Day presented by Mars Petcare!

Dog Day is Nashville’s celebration of all things doggie! Normally, this is a huge gathering in Centennial Park dedicated to dogs but this year we are going virtu-woof! This year we’re all about a big time live broadcast with fun events, contests, a ton of surprises all wrapped up in one big day of doggie celebration! You love dogs. We love dogs. Now let’s show them truly how much we love them!.

And of course, as always, your ticket is a donation to Nashville Humane Association and goes to support homeless and adoptable pets, community spay/neuter and humane education. So, even if you can’t make it out, you can make a donation or buy some tickets, which will go to a great place and support some pretty amazing shelter pets!

Nikki Burdine to Host 2020 Dog Day Broadcast

Nashville Humane Association is pleased to announce Nikki Burdine as the host of this year’s VCA live broadcast!

Nikki can be seen every morning as the co-anchor of WKRN Nashville’s Good Morning Nashville. A friend to Nashville Humane and a huge supporter of shelter pets everywhere, Nikki has two fur-family members — a rescue dog named Reggie White (yes, after the Minister of Defense) and a cat named Louis.

Join Nikki and a whole bunch of friends at 11AM on Saturday, September 12 for the Dog Day Live Broadcast. Until then, don’t forget to sign up for the Selfie Scavenger Hunt, Best Costume, Best Trick, and so many more contests! Win prizes. Help raise much-needed funds to keep Nashville Humane saving lives.

As always, we thank you for supporting Nashville Humane Association!!

Please support our sponsors and vendors as well 🙂

And we hope to see you and your furry friends on September 12.
