Nashville Humane Wishlist

The support of friends in the community through in-kind donations makes our work possible. This generosity ensures day-to-day operations of the shelter are covered, and all of our pets are cared-for. And even better? In-kind donations are tax-deductible!

Donations can be directly delivered to the shelter by Amazon or Chewy, or they can be dropped off during our business hours (Tuesday – Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM).

  • Wire Crates (all sizes)
  • Towels (bath or beach size only)
  • Flat Sheets
  • Dog Beds and Blankets
  • Dog and Cat Food (canned and dry, must be unopened)

  • Dog Treats (Bil-Jac, Pup-Peroni, Beggin’ Strips, Peanut Butter)
  • Cat Treats (Churu, Temptations, Catnip)
  • Plastic Travel Carriers (especially large sizes)
  • Martingale Collars (sizes small and medium)
  • Milk Replacer for Kittens/Puppies (must be unopened)
  • Royal Canin Kitten Food (canned and dry, must be unopened)
  • Stainless Steel Bowls
  • 1 Gallon Clorox Bleach

  • 13 Gallon Trash Bags

*We are unable to accept pillows, pillowcases, washcloths, hand towels, fitted sheets, pet stairs/ramps, and cat trees.

Donation FAQ

We accept drop-offs Tuesday-Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM at the shelter. Our address is 213 Oceola Ave, Nashville 37209, in West Nashville, near the intersection of White Bridge Road and Charlotte Pike. There are large yellow donation bins outside our front doors, where you can place your donation items in.

No. We are unable to take food that is in opened packaging, or food that has surpassed its expiration date.

Yes! As long as it is in its original packaging or bottle and not expired. We will also take empty prescription bottles!

Donations can be brought to the shelter during normal business hours (Tuesday – Sunday from 10 AM – 5 PM). If you hosted a donation drive for us, or are dropping off a large number of items, please contact donate@nashvillehumane.org to schedule your drop-off.
