Specialty License Plate

We did it! Thanks to the incredible support of our community, Nashville Humane has officially reached 1,000 sign-ups, which means our specialty license plate is now approved and in production!

Because we have hit this milestone, sign-ups are currently closed while the state completes the production process. This phase is expected to be completed around October 2026.

Already signed up? Keep an eye on your mailbox! You will receive a letter from your County Clerk once your license plate is ready to be picked up.

The funds raised from our specialty license plate directly support our Darcy Lashinsky Community Pet Food Bank. This program serves as an integral resource for households in need of supplemental pet food. By offering resources to our community that allow them to care for their cherished family pets rather than surrender them to the shelter, we are able to leave the kennels open for animals who truly need them. After all, the best shelter pet is one that never makes it to the shelter in the first place!

We are so grateful to everyone who helped us cross the finish line and bring this life-saving plate to Tennessee roads! Stay tuned for updates. We can’t wait to see these plates out on the road later this year!
