One of our favorite fundraisers is back for the fourth year in a row – Adoption Ale!
Starting in 2022, Nashville Humane and TailGate Brewery joined forces to make your pet a superstar on a limited edition TailGate brew! Since then, pet parents near and far have nominated their beloved pets to be featured on the can and the beer wizards at TailGate made the winners come to life! And the best part of all… Adoption Ale has allowed us to raise funds for the life-saving efforts and mission at Nashville Humane!
We are excited to reveal this year’s official can and announce that Adoption Ale is back! Between June 20th and July 4th, you can submit a photo of your pet (dog or cat) as a nominee to be featured on the wrapper of the 2025 TailGate Brewery Adoption Ale. Then, starting July 5th, you, your friends, and everyone who loves your pet’s photo will be allowed to vote for their favorite submission through July 25th, 2025.
Once all the votes are tabulated, the dog with the highest number of votes and the cat with the highest number of votes will be declared the respective winners. The winners will be revealed on social media on Wednesday, July 30th! But wait… there’s more! For the first time ever, the winners don’t stop there! Two additional winners will be announced and the official can will be revealed at TailGate Brewery Headquarters on Saturday, August 16th from 4 – 7 PM! That means every dog and cat entered has a fair chance of being on the can. To secure your spot as a judge’s choice, make sure to add the best photo and information about your pet when you enter!
Supporters of Nashville Humane and lovers of great beer will also be able to find Adoption Ale at TailGate Brewery taprooms, as well as NHA’s Dog Day Festival at Centennial Park on October 18th.
This fundraiser is a blast, there’s no doubt about it. But, here’s the best part… all of the proceeds for this contest go straight toward supporting the life-saving efforts and mission at Nashville Humane. From our Transport Program which brings pets from our backyard and all across the country into our program, to our Emergency Medical Fund that literally saves lives daily, your support makes little furry dreams come true. Every year we help nearly 4,000 pets find their perfect matches, all while maintaining a 98% annual save rate. As an entirely gift-based not-for-profit, all of this is made possible thanks to generous donations and fun contests just like this!
