Are you interested in speaking with someone from our team about a Nashville Humane event? We have out-of-the-box and custom experiences that we can bring to your corporate event, fundraiser, community group, and more.

Bring joy and excitement to your next event with a Puppy Party – a crowd favorite! Whether it’s a community gathering, personal celebration, or corporate outing, our Puppy Parties are the perfect way to add heartwarming fun to any occasion. Each event includes adorable puppies, professional puppy handlers, and all the essentials: puppy playpens, floor coverings, water bowls, a Nashville Humane literature table, and more. Puppy Parties are ideal for offsite celebrations, happy hours, pop-up events, small festivals, and much more!

Every year, Nashville welcomes thousands of performers and dedicated fans to its state-of-the-art venues. From load-in to tear-down and all parts in between, each act comes with a sizable production. Behind the scenes, artists enjoy above-and-beyond southern hospitality to ease the “grind” of the road. As one of Nashville’s oldest and most respected non-profits, Nashville Humane Association’s Back Stage Bark Breaks provide comfort and a piece of home to those passing through. Whether it’s cuddling some puppies or taking an adoptable dog on a walk in the park, we can ease the pain of missing your pup at home by bringing you a wet nose and a wagging tail. For a small donation or on-stage promotion, Back Stage Bark Breaks benefit artists, production, and thousands of rescue pets a year.

NHA Fundraisers are events that are hosted by another party with Nashville Humane being the beneficiaries without any other involvement. This could include Donation Drives that collect our ongoing Wish List items, raising funds for Nashville Humane, and/or presenting a check to a staff member. We use Wish List items and monetary donations daily to provide care for our adoptable animals.

Nashville Humane is happy to offer your small group a tour of our shelter if our schedule allows.  We do ask for a 2-week notice prior to booking a group tour.  We offer both a brief 30-minute tour of our facility to talk about what we do here at NHA. We also have a 1 hour behind the scenes tour that we can offer.  For both group tour options, we do ask for volunteer help, wish list donations, or monetary donations to be given to Nashville Humane prior to or on the day of your tour.

Interested in volunteering with your social organization or work colleagues? We offer two opportunities for this – Group Volunteering and Corporate Volunteering. Both are offered only on weekdays during our business hours (10am-5pm) and require that you apply at least 6-8 weeks in advance of the date you wish to volunteer, so we can plan accordingly.

Humane Education is a perfect way to learn about our mission and the work we do at Nashville Humane! Students have an opportunity to visit our shelter, receive a tour, and learn about a variety of topics, including the services we offer, how you can help a shelter, and the humane treatment of animals. A Humane Education session typically lasts 1 hour and includes NHA literature. We do ask for a small monetary donation and/or a collection of our Wish List items in return.

NOTE: completing the form below does NOT confirm an event or reserve a date for you. A staff member will reach out to discuss availability and details.
